Refund Policy

How Genjutsu AI refunds credits for failed video edits, how cancelling a subscription works, and how to ask for a refund of a payment.

Last updated: 2026-10-06

Failed edits refund their credits automatically

Every video edit shows its credit cost before you generate and is charged once. If the job fails, or the provider's asset review rejects the uploaded clip or reference images, the credits go straight back to your balance. You do not need to contact us for this. Settings → Credits lists every charge and refund.

A finished video that does not look the way you hoped is a completed generation, so its credits are not returned automatically. If the result is clearly broken (for example a blank or corrupted file), write to us and we will look at the task.

Cancelling a subscription

You can cancel a monthly or yearly plan at any time from Settings → Billing. The plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, renewals stop, and credits you have already received stay in your balance.

Credit packs and plan credits

  • Credit packs are one-time purchases and their credits do not expire.
  • Monthly plans add credits at the start of each month; yearly plans add the whole year's credits at once when you pay.
  • Settings → Credits shows each grant and its expiry date, if it has one.

Refunds of payments

Requests to refund a payment are reviewed case by case. Write to support@genjutsu-ai.app from the email on your account and include the payment email, the date and the amount. If you were charged twice for the same order or paid but received no credits, tell us and we will fix it.

Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through the payment provider.
