Which Say It Right choreography does this make?
The Say It Right dance can mean several performances set to Nelly Furtado’s 2006 song. This preset follows the Pedra do Sal street-party take: the lead approaches the phone, steps back into the crowd and moves through small side steps, shoulder turns and hand rolls. The bright street lamp, blue tents and moving crowd are part of the scene. Your photo supplies the new lead’s appearance.
The Say It Right mirror dance is the older bathroom-mirror meme associated with Jamie Big Sorrel Horse, @jamie32bsh, in 2022. Studio Say It Right choreo videos are separate routines by choreographers. Neither is a selectable template here. The street-party performer is identified in the source material as Zenegão, @zenegaooficial; this page does not identify the other people in the crowd or the dancers in Nelly Furtado’s official music video.

You or your pet: what the photo controls
A Say It Right dance solo means one replacement lead, even though the scene contains a crowd. Choose one subject whose face is unobstructed. You do not need to photograph them dancing.
| Photo | What it contributes | What to check in the result |
|---|---|---|
| Person, waist-up or full body | Face, hair, build and visible clothes. A fuller photo supplies more outfit detail. | Face during the profile turn; hands crossing the waist; trousers and shoes if not in the photo. |
| Dog or cat | The animal’s face, fur, markings and proportions, with an upright dance performance. | Paws remain paws; muzzle and ears stay consistent; no unintended human body or outfit. |
| Drawing or mascot artwork | A character reference that the model may reinterpret to fit a photographic street scene. | Style changes. This preset is not a reliable way to preserve a flat illustration or anime finish. |
| Group photo | Ambiguous identity for a single lead. | Choose a different photo with only the intended person or pet before uploading. |
The crowd follows the built-in performance. A second face in your upload does not become a second dancer. There is no outfit lock, face-strength slider or background picker in this tool, and a higher resolution does not guarantee better identity or anatomy.
Choose the part of the dance you want
| Length | Opening of the take | Available on |
|---|---|---|
| 10 seconds | Close approach, step back, two-step and low hand rolls. | All five models |
| 15 seconds | The same opening, plus a profile look and return toward the lens. | All five models |
| 20 seconds | Also includes the forward bend, brief camera jolt and rise. | Seedance 2.5 only |
All choices export a vertical 9:16 MP4 with sound. Seedance 2.5, 15 seconds and 480p are selected initially. Mini and Fast offer 480p/720p; Seedance 2.0 and 2.5 also offer 1080p; MiniMax H3 offers 720p. A longer clip contains more movement to inspect, so choose it for the extra beats rather than assuming it improves a short take.

The full 20-second grey-shirt example uses the template’s soundtrack. The two shorter opening excerpts match the dance, crowd and camera but retain different source audio; they illustrate the movement, not the sound you will receive.

The cheapest selection is 15 credits for Mini, 10 seconds, 480p (about $0.56 at that monthly rate). The default is 117 credits; the full 20 seconds on Seedance 2.5 at 480p is 155 credits. The one-time $5 Trial Pack contains 24 credits: enough for one Mini take at 480p of either 10 or 15 seconds. It does not cover the default selection. Compare plans and packs.
| Question | Current rule |
|---|---|
| Can I generate free? | 3 sign-up credits, valid for 7 days. Not enough for a video; the minimum is 15 credits. |
| Do I need an account or card? | Sign-in is required to generate and retrieve your files. Creating an account does not require a card or start a paid subscription. |
| What is the free resolution or time limit? | There is no separate free preview length: eligible credits must cover the whole selected video, starting at 15 credits for 10 seconds at 480p. |
| Is the download watermarked? | Free-account videos carry a moving site watermark. Any purchase unlocks the clean download of existing and future videos. |
| Is music an extra charge? | No. The template’s soundtrack is included in the MP4 at each offered setting. |
| What happens on failure? | A failed or rejected task returns its credits. A completed video is charged even if you decide to make another take. |
Keep the Say It Right dance song in sync
The Say It Right dance song is Nelly Furtado’s “Say It Right.” The original recording, sped-up edits and the Say It Right dance remix versions are not interchangeable timing tracks. This preset restores the sound from its own street-party take. Start by watching the downloaded MP4 as supplied; adding another track on top can create doubled audio or shift the beat.
If you deliberately replace the soundtrack, mute one track and compare the first hand roll and a later turn. If only the start is wrong, adjust the audio offset. If the later movement drifts farther away, check that you chose the same tempo and edit. Changing the soundtrack cannot repair incorrect generated steps or extra fingers.
Check the lead before posting
| Check | Watch for | Next step |
|---|---|---|
| Face or muzzle | A new face appears during the turn or when the lead leans in. | Use a sharper, unobstructed photo. Compare another model if needed; another completed take is charged. |
| Hands, paws and limbs | Merged fingers, extra paws or an animal changing into a human shape. | Pick a clear photo showing the subject’s shape. Review the complete video; there is no anatomy-fix button. |
| Clothes and fur | Invented trousers, changing markings or distorted fine prints. | Provide more visible outfit or coat detail. Do not treat this as exact product or logo reproduction. |
| Dance and sound | The lead sways generically or the gestures drift from the beat. | Compare the original downloaded sound before changing audio. A new take may be needed if the motion itself is wrong. |
| Sharpness after upload | A clean file looks soft on Reels or Shorts. | Upload the downloaded MP4, not a screen recording. Consider 720p/1080p for the next generation; upscaling does not restore missing face detail. |
A built-in template, CapCut or your own clip?
Use this preset when you want the Rio Say It Right dance from one photo. A CapCut template may edit existing clips, apply transitions or offer a separate AI effect: inspect its actual inputs rather than assuming every similarly named template animates a photograph. A motion-reference workflow takes your photo plus a clip you supply. For a different dance or your own filmed scene, the main video editor lets you upload a reference; its model, duration and credit limits are shown there.
If you want to learn the steps and film yourself, choose a mirrored or slowed tutorial for the specific routine you saw. This generator does not teach the studio choreography or offer the bathroom-mirror version. For another built-in performance, try Bulin 47 or the two-role Alors on Danse template.
