The generator above takes one photo of your pet and makes it sing: on the birthday scene it sings Happy Birthday with the name you type; on the other scenes it sings your words, or your own song if you upload one. Below: what you get and what it costs, how much of the song fits in 5, 10 or 15 seconds, which pets work, and what singing pet AI still gets wrong.

Singing pet AI examples
Six singing-pet clips, one or more for each scene: a corgi and a cat at their birthday cakes, a bathtub opera cat, two stage performers and a studio session. Watch the mouth on each word and whether the fur and markings stay the same from start to end. These are reference examples in their own frames and lengths; your video's frame, length and look come from your photo, scene and model.

How much of Happy Birthday fits in 5, 10 or 15 seconds?
The birthday song has four short lines, and the name is in the third: “happy birthday dear …”. Sung at a relaxed party tempo, each line takes about 2.5 to 3.5 seconds, so a 5-second video usually ends before the name, 10 seconds normally reaches it, and 15 seconds fits the whole song with a moment at the candles. The model sings “as much as fits”, so these are typical, not exact.
| Length | What usually fits | Name sung? | Seedance 2.0 Mini 480p |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5 s | “Happy birthday to you” once or twice | Often not | 7 credits (≈$0.26) |
| 10 s | Three lines, sometimes all four | Yes, in most takes | 13 credits (≈$0.48) |
| 15 s | The whole song, then a look at the candles | Yes | 19 credits (≈$0.71) |
Tips for the name: type it the way it sounds, one or two words, no titles (“Grandma”, not “My dear Grandma Ruth”). A name with many syllables squeezes the line, so pick 15 seconds. For other wishes (an anniversary, “get well soon”, a thank-you), switch to another scene and type a short line of your own in “Words to sing”; around 8 to 12 words fit in 10 seconds.
AI singing animals: can my cat, hamster or bird sing too?
Yes: the same tool makes an AI cat singing Happy Birthday, a hamster on a tiny stage or a rabbit in headphones. What matters is a clear view of the face and mouth. The model keeps the species, fur colour, markings and collar from your photo, and gives the animal its own muzzle or beak, never human lips or teeth.
| Pet | How well it sings | Photo tip |
|---|---|---|
| Dogs | Best: a long muzzle shows every word | Face the camera, mouth relaxed or slightly open |
| Cats | Very good; small mouth, big expressions | Eyes open, whiskers visible, no hand in the frame |
| Flat-faced breeds (pug, French bulldog, Persian) | Good, but the snout can change shape | Straight-on, even light; avoid wide-angle selfies |
| Very dark fur | Good with light; dark fur hides the mouth | Daylight from the front so the mouth line is visible |
| Hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs | Good from close up | Face fills most of the photo |
| Birds | The beak opens and closes, it does not shape words | Side-on or three-quarter view of the head |
Your own words or your own song
There are two ways to choose what your pet sings. “AI sings my words” makes the voice and the music in the same pass: on the birthday scene it sings Happy Birthday with your name; on the other scenes it sings the line you type, or a short original song if you leave it empty. “Upload my song” sends your own 2–15-second MP3 or WAV, and the pet's mouth follows its vocals.
- Your own song works on the Seedance models and Wan 3.0. MiniMax H3 only sings typed words, so it is hidden when you upload a song.
- Trim the song to the chorus, with the voice clearly louder than the music. When you add a song, the length switches to one at least as long as the song; keep it there so the whole song fits.
- A recording of your family singing the birthday song is the most personal version: the dog “sings” in your voices.
Two pets singing together
Add a second photo and the two sing a duet: Pet 1 on the left sings the first line while Pet 2 listens, Pet 2 answers, and both sing the last line together. Each keeps its own look from its own photo. A dog and a cat, two dogs, or a puppy and its older sibling all work; use two separate photos rather than one photo of both pets, so the model gets a full view of each face.
Is singing dog AI free? Price per video
New accounts get 3 free credits, which is not enough for a whole video (the cheapest is 7). Every video costs credits by model, length and resolution: 13 credits for a 10-second Seedance 2.0 Mini 480p video (≈$0.48), 96 for Seedance 2.0 Pro at 720p, 360 for Seedance 2.5 at 1080p. The Trial Pack ($5, 24 credits) covers one 10-second Mini 480p video. Scene, frame, sound and a duet do not change the price.
| Model | Resolution | 5s | 10s | 15s |

| Seedance 2.5 | 1080p | 180 (≈$6.69) | 360 (≈$13.38) | 540 (≈$20.08) |
Dollar figures use the Pro monthly rate ($29 for 780 credits). Budget for retries: a birthday video for one person is often one or two takes; three takes of a 10-second 480p video on Mini is 39 credits. See all plans on the pricing page.
Singing dog AI compared: Singing Pet, TuneArt
Two widely used singing-pet tools, from their own pages on November 3, 2026. Prices change; open the tool's page before buying.

How to read it: for one free test, both other tools give you a watermarked video at no cost. Here you choose the model and length, see the price per video first, and can type the name to sing or upload your own song.
What singing dog AI does badly
Singing pet AI is good at a short, happy clip from a clear photo. It is weaker at exact words, long songs and fast rap: the model writes its own melody, so a name can be sung with the wrong stress, and the mouth can trail a quick lyric by a syllable. It also cannot reproduce your dog's real bark or howl, and it does not keep a whole song longer than 15 seconds.
| What you see | Usual cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| The name is missing | 5-second video, or a long name | Choose 10 or 15 s; shorten the name |
| The name is mispronounced | Unusual spelling | Type it phonetically, or upload your own recording |
| The face or snout changes shape | Side-on or wide-angle photo, flat-faced breed | Straight-on photo in even light; try Seedance 2.5 or Pro |
| Human-looking teeth or lips | Mouth hidden in the photo, very dark fur | Photo with the mouth visible, light from the front |
| Extra paws, a floating hair dryer | Busy photo, the bathtub scene's props | Crop to the pet; use the birthday or stage scene |
| Mouth behind the beat of your song | Fast rap, quiet vocals | Use the chorus with clear, slow vocals |
| Two pets blend into one | One photo of both pets | Upload one photo per pet |
Singing dog AI app or website?
You do not need a singing dog AI app: this page runs in Safari or Chrome on iPhone and Android, takes a photo from your camera roll and saves the MP4 back to it. An app is only worth it if you want to edit the clip afterwards, for example to add captions or stickers in CapCut. Free singing pet apps for Android and iPhone usually limit free use the same way websites do: a few watermarked videos, then a plan.
AI singing dog or talking dog: what is the difference?
A talking pet video moves the mouth to speech, usually a voice you record or type; a singing one follows a melody, so the mouth has to hold long notes and the head moves with the beat. This page makes singing videos. To make your dog talk instead, edit the prompt to ask for speech with no music, or upload a short voice recording as your song.
What is the singing dog AI trend?
Singing pet videos made from one photo date back to 2022, when photo-animation apps such as Revive spread clips of pets lip-syncing pop songs. In November 2024 a toy poodle lip-syncing the Chinese rap song “因果” (“Yin Guo”) by SKAI ISYOURGOD, with its lines about mountains of gold and silver, drew more than five million views and became the “Chinese rap dog” meme of TikTok. In October 2026 a new version spread: pets standing in a bathtub, wrapped in a towel, singing opera into a hair dryer. The bathtub scene above recreates that look; the birthday scene is the version people send to family.
