Tecktonik Dance AI Generators Compared: Which One Makes the Real Clip?

Tecktonik dance AI is one fixed clip, not a style you can describe: your photo takes Cheba Man's place on a red-lit party stage, doing the same 16-second Tecktonik (electro dance) arm routine while the crowd films. So the best tool is one that has that clip built in. Genjutsu AI does: upload one photo above and get a 9:16 MP4 of 5 to 16 seconds with the original track, from 8 credits. Below, 11 tools compared on which clip they use, free use, sign-up, watermark, sound and price per video.

JPG, PNG or WebP, 300–6000 px per side, up to 10 MB. A sharp, front-facing, full-body photo of one person in good light works best: the video dresses you in the clothes and shoes the photo shows.

Your photo replaces the dancer on the red stage for the whole clip; the crowd is redrawn as invented people. Faces and hands can still drift on the fast arm wraps, so watch the result before posting. Seedance 2.5 checks your photo and the clip before it renders.

$5 gets you 24 credits: one 5, 10, 15-second 480p Seedance 2.0 Mini video (8–23 credits). The full 16 s needs Seedance 2.5 (from 124 credits).

How to make a Tecktonik dance AI video from one photo

  1. 01

    Add one full-body photo

One person, standing, facing the camera, both arms visible, in the clothes you want to dance in. A waist-up photo also works; the rest of the outfit is then made up to match.

  2. 02

Choose the length, model and resolution

Seedance 2.5 makes the whole 16-second routine; Seedance 2.0 Mini, Fast, Seedance 2.0 and MiniMax H3 make its first 5, 10 or 15 seconds. 480p is preselected and the credit price updates as you choose.

  3. 03

    Generate and download

Confirm the photo is yours to use and generate. Your photo replaces the dancer for the whole clip, then the original track is laid back under it. Download the 9:16 MP4 for TikTok, Reels or Shorts.

What “Tecktonik dance AI” actually is

Tecktonik dance AI is a fixed template. Every viral version starts from the same phone video: dancer Cheba Man, in sunglasses and a striped shirt, doing a solo Tecktonik routine on a raised stage at an outdoor night party, under hard red light and strings of bulbs, while the crowd below films him on their phones. His reel took off in late May 2026, and the AI trend swaps him for the person in a photo. Everything else stays: the stage, the camera shake, every arm wrap on the beat and the track.

  • The dance. Tecktonik (also written tektonik, sometimes “tectonic dance”, and better known outside France as electro dance) came out of the Paris club scene in the mid-2000s, around the Métropolis club, and spread across Europe by 2007–2008. It is almost all arms: fast wraps and rolls in front of the face, sharp points, wide sweeps.
  • The names you'll see. On TikTok it is often called the “Tecktonik Party AI” filter or dance. Searches for tecktonik dance, tecktonik dancing or tektonic AI usually mean the same trend.
  • Two clips, not one. Most remakes use Cheba Man's red stage. A CapCut template uses a different clip: a courtyard party with a DJ booth and a hedge in front, which is the same scene as the Love Is Gonna Save Us dance. It is also not the 2008 video of two brothers dancing in a small room.

Because the trend is one specific clip, the question that decides everything is simple: does the tool have that clip, or can you give it to the tool?

Quick picks: the best Tecktonik dance AI tool for each job

  • The real red-stage clip with its sound, from one photo: Genjutsu AI (this page). Original footage and track, 5–16 seconds, from 8 credits.
  • No account, pay once, or a pet: Tecktonik Party. An AI-rebuilt red stage, silent, $9.99 per video.
  • You already use EAST.IM: its Tecktonik tool keeps a 15-second red-stage clip with music, at 800 credits a video.
  • Free on your phone, and the courtyard version is fine: the CapCut template.
  • Your own Tecktonik clip or a different routine: Kling Motion Control or Viggle. You supply the video and add the music.
  • Not worth it for this trend: a text or image prompt alone in Runway, Pika, Luma or Magic Hour. You get a dance, not this one.

How we checked, and what we couldn't

We read each tool's own feature, pricing and help pages on October 14, 2026. We did not sign up, pay or generate on other tools, so the table describes what each tool publishes, not a test of output quality.

  • Could not verify: the CapCut template's own terms (free or paid, length, end card); Kling's credit cost per second of Motion Control for app users and the size of its free monthly credits; Viggle's output resolution; Creen's daily free limit; generation times for every tool except Tecktonik Party (about 7 minutes) and EAST.IM (10–20 minutes).
  • Inferred, not stated: a watermark on the Kling, Viggle and Runway free plans, because their plan tables list watermark-free output only on paid tiers.
  • For this page's own tool, the figures come from the same functions that charge your credits, so the table, the button and the bill always match.

Tool by tool

Genjutsu AI: the original reel, one photo

The panel above has Cheba Man's 16-second reel built in. Your photo replaces the dancer, the crowd is redrawn as invented people so no real guest stays recognisable, and the original track is laid back under the result. Seedance 2.5 makes the whole routine; four cheaper models make its first 5, 10 or 15 seconds. No prompt to write. It runs in any browser, including on a phone.

Tecktonik Party: pay once, no account

A single-purpose site with an AI-generated copy of the red stage rather than the original footage. It takes a person or a pet (in beta), needs no account and has no watermark. Its videos are silent on purpose, so you add the sound when you post. $9.99 for one, cheaper in packs.

EAST.IM: the red stage inside a bigger credit app

EAST.IM's Tecktonik tool keeps a 15-second red-stage clip and its music, at 720p. It needs an account and paid credits (800 per video), and free members can't use this tool. It also offers a two-person mode.

CapCut template: free, but the other clip

CapCut's Tecktonik template recasts the courtyard party clip, not Cheba Man's stage. Remakes we checked were about 10 seconds at 480×854, and many carried a small “AI” label in the corner or a CapCut end card. Good if you already edit in CapCut and don't mind the different scene.

Kling Motion Control and Viggle: bring your own clip

Both copy movement from a video you upload onto your photo. That works for Tecktonik if you have a clean copy of the clip, and it's the way to go for a different routine. You add the music yourself, and free plans come with a watermark. Viggle is the cheaper way to test (free daily videos); Kling offers 720p or 1080p.

Creen and Magic Hour: quick, free-ish, not this routine

Creen has free motion-control use on some models, in clips of up to 10 seconds. Magic Hour's dance generator works from a photo and a prompt, with no reference video, so it improvises the moves. Both are fine for a generic dance, not for the Tecktonik routine.

Runway, Pika and Luma: general video tools

ChatGPT often suggests these for dance videos. From a text or image prompt alone, none of them knows the routine, the stage or the timing. Their reference features (Runway Act-Two, Pika Motion Transfer, Luma video-to-video) can get close if you supply the clip, but you're paying general-purpose prices for a 16-second meme.

“—” means the model doesn't offer that option: the full 16 seconds is Seedance 2.5 only, and MiniMax H3 renders 720p here. On the Pro monthly plan (780 credits for $29), one credit costs about $0.037, so a 5-second Mini test is about $0.30, 15 seconds on Mini about $0.86, on Seedance 2.0 Fast about $1.78 and on MiniMax H3 about $4.31, and the full 16 seconds on Seedance 2.5 about $4.61, $10.37 or $18.40 at 480p, 720p or 1080p. Failed or rejected generations refund their credits automatically.

Why general video generators miss the dance, and how to fix twisted arms

Ask a text or image-to-video model for “2007 Tecktonik dancing” and it invents a club and some generic arm waving. The routine is too exact for words: wraps, rolls and points land on specific beats, and the model has never seen this clip. What works is motion transfer, where a real video drives the movement and your photo supplies the look. Avatar apps go the other way: they keep your face and invent the moves, which is why they make a dance but not this one.

What you seeLikely causeWhat to change
Arms bend the wrong way or melt on the fast wraps

A prompt instead of a reference, or the lowest model and resolution

Use the clip; pick Seedance 2.5 or Seedance 2.0 at 720p or 1080p
Hands merge with the face

The arms cross the face in the photo, or the hands hold a phone or drink

A photo with both arms down or out and empty hands
Moves drift off the beatA trimmed or sped-up reference, or a cut that stops early

Keep the clip's timing; choose the full 16 seconds on Seedance 2.5

Legs vanish or floatA half-body photoA full-body photo, head to shoes
The face stops looking like youA small, angled or filtered photo, sunglasses or a capA sharp, front-facing photo in even light, face uncovered

If one run still twists an arm, run it again: each generation is different, and a failed one refunds its credits.

Tecktonik dance AI remakes: the red stage and the courtyard version

AI remakes showing the two clips used in the trend: the red stage and the courtyard version.

Red stage: a cartoon-style dancer with a tall quiff and a long red coat
Red stage: grey top and white wide-leg trousers, crowd filming
Courtyard version: an upright schnauzer by the DJ decks
Courtyard version: an embroidered red robe and headdress
Courtyard version: cap, sunglasses, blue shirt and shorts

Before you post

  • Photos. Use your own photo or one of an adult who agreed to it. No celebrities, strangers or minors; you confirm this before every generation, and your photo stays a private input on your account. See the privacy policy.
  • The track. The video keeps the clip's sound, but credits don't include a music license. For personal posts, TikTok and Instagram handle the sound through their libraries; for an ad, license the track or use a commercial sound.
  • Label it. TikTok, Instagram and YouTube ask creators to mark realistic AI video; turn on the AI label when you post.

Tecktonik dance AI tools: questions

What are the best AI tools for making Tecktonik dance videos from photos?

It depends on whether you want the trend clip itself. Tools with the clip built in: Genjutsu AI (Cheba Man's red-stage reel with its track, one photo, 5–16 s), Tecktonik Party (an AI-rebuilt red stage, silent, $9.99 per video, no account) and EAST.IM (a 15-second red-stage clip, 800 credits per video). Motion-transfer tools such as Kling Motion Control and Viggle can copy the dance if you supply the Tecktonik video yourself. General image-to-video tools like Runway, Pika or Luma can't recreate the routine from a prompt alone.

Which online AI video generator gives the most realistic Tecktonik dance from a portrait?

Realism comes from a real motion reference, not from the model's name. A generator that edits the original phone footage keeps the stage, the light, the shaky camera and every arm wrap, and only swaps the dancer, which is what Genjutsu AI does with the built-in reel (Seedance 2.5 for the full 16 s, up to 1080p). Tools that rebuild the stage with AI or animate a portrait from a prompt look smoother but less like the viral clip. A sharp, full-body, front-facing photo matters more than any setting.

What apps can I use on Android to make a photo of myself dance Tecktonik?

You don't need a dedicated app: Genjutsu AI, Tecktonik Party and EAST.IM all run in the phone's browser, so Chrome on Android works. Viggle and Creen also have Android apps for motion transfer, where you upload the Tecktonik clip yourself. CapCut has an Android app with trend templates, but its Tecktonik template uses a different courtyard party clip rather than the red stage.

Are there free AI dance generators that make Tecktonik videos without a subscription?

None of the tools with the red-stage clip are free for a full video: Tecktonik Party has no free tier, EAST.IM doesn't open this tool to free members, and here new accounts get 3 free credits, which is not enough for a video: the cheapest one costs 8. None of them needs a subscription, though: Tecktonik Party is pay-per-video and Genjutsu AI sells a $5 Trial Pack (24 credits). Viggle gives free daily videos and Creen free use on some models, but you must bring your own Tecktonik clip and a free plan usually adds a watermark.

How much does a Tecktonik AI dance video cost with premium tools?

Checked on October 14, 2026: Tecktonik Party charges $9.99 per 14-second video ($5.00 each in a 10-pack); EAST.IM uses 800 credits per 15-second video, about $5 to $10 depending on the plan or pack. Here it is 8 credits (about $0.30 at the Pro monthly rate) for 5 seconds on Seedance 2.0 Mini, 23 credits (about $0.86) for 15 seconds, and 124 credits (about $4.61) for the full 16 seconds on Seedance 2.5 at 480p.

What are the monthly prices and free limits of the popular AI dance tools?

Checked on October 14, 2026: Kling Standard is $6.99 for the first month, then $8.80 a month for 660 credits, with monthly free credits on login; Viggle Pro is $7.99 a month, and free accounts get 5 videos a day; Creen Plus is $15 a month, with free use on some models; Magic Hour Creator is $19 a month, with free daily credits and a watermark; Runway Standard is $15 a month after 125 one-time free credits; Pika Starter is $10 a month, with no monthly free credits; Luma Plus is $30 a month, with no free plan. Tecktonik Party and EAST.IM credit packs need no subscription.

The arms look distorted and the moves look unnatural. What settings fix Tecktonik motion?

Use a reference video instead of a prompt, and keep its length: cutting or speeding up the clip breaks the timing of the wraps. Then pick a photo with both arms visible and nothing in the hands, choose 720p or 1080p, and use Seedance 2.5 or Seedance 2.0 rather than the cheapest model. Here the clip and timing are built in. If one generation still twists an arm on the fast wraps, run it again: each run is different.

Motion transfer or an avatar generator: which is better for a Tecktonik dance from my photo?

Motion transfer. It copies a real dancer's body movement onto your photo, which is what Tecktonik needs: dozens of fast wraps and points on the beat. Avatar generators (talking-head or dancing-avatar apps) animate a character with their own generic moves, so you get a dance, but not this one. Genjutsu AI's panel is motion transfer with the trend clip already loaded.
