What is an APT AI video?
“APT.” is the 2024 song by ROSÉ and Bruno Mars. Its music video is a two-person performance in a hot-pink studio: one plays the drums, the other sings at the microphone, and they dance and trade places between cuts. An APT AI video recasts those two performers with people from photos, usually you and a friend or partner, while the pink set, the moves and the song stay. The search “APT AI” on its own also matches an unrelated career-quiz company; this page is only about the music-video trend.
With both photos added, the model follows a faceless performance render of the music video’s drum-and-microphone section, so neither original performer’s face carries over.

Front-facing, sharp and evenly lit photos work best, with the whole face visible and the upper body in frame. Clothes and hair follow each photo, so pick the outfits you want on stage. Avoid sunglasses, heavy filters, tiny faces, celebrity photos and film stills. Use only photos you have permission to use.
Does it keep the APT song and dance moves?
Yes. The model generates silent video that follows the reference: the drumming, the singing mouth movements, the head bobs, the dancing and the cuts in the pink studio. The song from the same section is then laid back under it, trimmed to the length you chose. The 5- and 10-second options use the opening of the 15-second clip. It does not create the full music video, clone a voice or accept your own soundtrack, and buying credits does not include a music license, so post where the platform’s sound library allows it.

Use your own APT video, or make it vertical
The built-in clip is the 16:9 pink-studio version. If you found another APT take, such as a vertical TikTok remake, a dance cover or a clip you filmed, use it as the reference instead: switch the source to your own upload, add your photos and write one line saying who each image replaces, for example “Image 1 replaces the drummer, Image 2 the singer”. The result follows that clip’s moves, camera and shape, so a vertical clip gives a vertical video, and its sound is kept.
