The Chipmunks Dance (also searched as the alvin and the chipmunks dance trend or chipmunk dance trend) is a three-person TikTok routine that spread in October 2026: friends in a row hop, spin, swap places and take turns at the camera. It is named after Alvin and the Chipmunks because of the sound, a sped-up, high-pitched edit of Dead or Alive’s 1984 hit “You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)”; there are no cartoon chipmunks in the videos.
